History

The original founder of company Lekkerkerker mr Kees Lekkerkerker first started his working career as a little boy between cows on the farm of his parents. With this experience the foundation was laid of what now completes a total package of companies. Kees Lekkerkerker was interested in the making of cheese and so began around 1980 with the production of hard Gouda-type cheese. In 1985 he expanded his knowledge with the milkprocessing plant Natuurhoeve in Benschop which still produces a lot of products for market leading companies within the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. During this success Machinehandel Lekkerkerker was founded in 1990 with a smallgroup of engineers. It now consists of a group of more than 50 well appreciated and specialized employees. Several years later the processed cheese company Lebo Kaas began its fast growing production. At present time this production factory is located next to Machinehandel Lekkerkerker.

Because of the 100% dedication of Kees Lekkerkerker to all his companies, slow but sure, all members of the family Lekkerkerker became somehow involved so that one can tell Machinehandel Lekkerkerker has become asuccessful family-owned business.
